Bentall Centre

Located in the heart of Kingston, The Bentall Centre has been open for over 18 years. With new stores opening every year, more services and facilities including a full health club and a crèche, this is the ultimate shopping experience. There are stores to keep the kids entertained at the Build-a-Bear Workshop, Early Learning Centre and Hawkin's Bazaar, and the World of Children crèche to offer mums a well deserved break. There are several cafés located in the centre, including Café Giardino, Costa coffee and Moko, perfect to grab a quick bite or to sit down for a family lunch.

The centre consists of 4 floors and all are accessible via stairways, escalators and lifts, providing easy access for prams and wheelchairs. There are 2 car parks with direct access to the Bentall Centre via a pedestrian bridge.

Bentalls

Spanning across 5 floors, Bentalls department store is located at the back of the Bentall Centre, with alternative entrances available on Wood Street, 2 minutes walk from Kingston train station. On the lower ground floor you can find stationery, greeting cards, luggage, china and food and wine from around the world. Situated on the ground floor are cosmetics, perfume, fashion accessories, handbags, hosiery, jewellery, men's wear and watches. The first floor stocks lingerie, nightwear, shoes, swim wear and women's clothing, including brands such as All Saints, Miss Selfridge, Ted Baker and Topshop. The second floor is for audio, computers, furniture, lighting, kitchens, multimedia and soft furnishings. And the third floor consists of children's items including clothing, shoes and nursery products, as well as several restaurants including Frank B's Diner and Satori Sushi, to name a few.

John Lewis

Located opposite The Bentall Centre, John Lewis is open seven days a week and has 4 floors of shopping available ranging from fashion for the whole family, jewellery and make up to electrical items, kitchen appliances and household furniture. There is also a Waitrose on the basement floor so you can do your food shopping after you've visited John Lewis. Waitrose and John Lewis share an adjoining car park making your shopping needs that little bit easier. Their riverside restaurant, The Place To Eat, allows you to enjoy a coffee or a hot meal while you shop.

Eden Walk Shopping Centre

Eden Walk Shopping Centre has a variety of shops and cafés, convenient parking and transport links, offering a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic choice. With shops ranging from H&M, Punkyfish, Marks & Spencer and Bhs to Maplin's electrical store, an independent jewellers and manicurist, there is something for everyone. Fancy a break? Take a seat on the benches, grab a bite to eat at the West Cornwall Pasty stall or from one of the nearby cafés, including Pret a Manger, Caffè Nero or Meat Roll, a carvery style cafe serving generous portions of sliced beef, pork and turkey sandwiches.

Markets

Ancient Market - Open Monday-Saturday, from 9am – 5pm this market is located in the Ancient Market Place, renowned for its vast display of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh fish from Webster’s Fishmongers, which is one of the longest established stalls on the market, a butchers and ready to eat food, including Moroccan cuisine, a Japanese café, Gordon’s Grill and a hot pretzel stall selling savoury and sweet pretzels, coffee and fresh fruit ice lollies. Kingston’s Ancient Market also offers a range of non-food goods, including handmade jewellery, vintage clothing, second hand videos & DVDs, cards, party accessories, and general household goods.

Monday Market - A traditional general goods market with more than 50 traders, Kingston’s Monday Market is held in the Cattle Market Surface Car Park (next to Kingfisher Leisure Centre) every Monday from 9am – 2pm. Market stalls include; plants, fruit & vegetables, butchers, food, clothing, shoes, make-up, watch repair & key cutting, mobile phone accessories, bric-a-brac, general household goods, fabric, haberdashery, rugs, cards and books.

Clarence Street

Clarence Street has the longest row of shops welcome to pedestrians in Kingston, with the Bentall Centre and John Lewis located at the head of the road. There is a vast amount of fashion and beauty shops open daily, including Superdrug, Topshop, Gap, Game, French Connection, Wallis, Oasis, The Body Shop, Clarks shoes and the official Chelsea FC store, to name a few.

Supermarkets

Kingston is home to a range of supermarkets for every budget and need. There is an Asda located 10 minutes walk from the town centre, or easily accessed by several buses. Waitrose is located in the basement of John Lewis with direct access to the John Lewis car park for your convenience. Easily located in Wheatfield Way opposite Argos, Lidl is open Monday-Saturday from 8am-10pm and from 11am-5pm on Sundays for your convenience.

There is an M&S supermarket located on the ground floor of the store, with entrances on both Clarence Street and Eden Walk Shopping Centre. There are also two Sainsbury's stores, a big one with a car park and recycling centre positioned on Richmond Road, 5 minutes walk from Kingston train centre, and a smaller express store found in Eden Walk Shopping Centre.
